Update me, Scotty!

So um... I've got some new stuff going around...

The former 10 minute chiptrance tune "Travel" that is going to be released on Mp3Death is now 13 minutes and counting... Also there will be a B-side of the EP, so 4 more tracks or so.

I realize this will take me forever.

I need to get the fuck back to tracking!

(Oh and, people of Kittenrock, if you read this, sorry for being lazy!)

So why didn't the microKorg have THIS preset bank!?
(At the moment I'm totally hooked on Acid House. It's 4:19 AM, I just made this shoop- and I'm kinda thinking about going to bed.)

I need to brag.

"Out of the seven Chiptune artists questioned, only two had a high level of musical
training within their education. The majority had backgrounds in untrained pop or rock
music that progressed into basic electronic music production, and from there to

One artist had absolutely no musical background whatsoever:
the artist Småm, from Gothenburg, Sweden, only made music with loop-based programs such as
Garageband (yes, Olof, Garageband.) before beginning to make Game Boy music with the software LSDJ
(Småm, 2007, A4), meaning he had no musical theory knowledge at all, and has taught
himself the basics of what sounds good in music through the Game Boy. Interestingly,
when asked if LSDJ has broadened his musical knowledge, he said he recently
perfected an aural pitch recognition test that may have had something to do with using
the Game Boy." - Alex Yabsley The Sound of Playing: A Study into the Music and Culture of Chiptunes

And this is what I call AWESOMENESS!
(let me brag about this one, hey!)

Haha, seems like my Sailor Moon Chiptrance remix got featured on some internet radio... I had no idea actually, found it when googling.

Seems like this DJ Ginger Snapp played some chips!

I must admit that I feel flattered. : )

Sm0hm on the radio!

In Thursdays K9D was interviewed and played some tracks on some pirate radio (can't recall which)

And, of course, there were many piggy tracks- Including "You And Me" by.. Me!
Many thanks to K9D for playing that track and the shoutout! (I owe you one, man.)

Other than me there were tracks from all over Hexawe, great stuff :)

If you want to take a listen to the show and mp3 file is availible here
You'll notice when it's mine, at least after it's played!
(it's the one with all the 5ths and Rhodes mk II)

It's well worth the listen! Many great tracks and also K9D saying
"if you're not down with the pig you're not OINKING!"
so true.

And yeah, <3 goes out to K9D for pronouncing Sm0mh correctly!

EDIT: Oh, just now when I've listened to the whole thing I found out that THREE of my piggy tracks were featured! Thanks Jordan! :)
I really do appreciate it!

List in order of appearence:
You And Me @ 78:52
Streetlights @ 98:20
New Generation @ 102:00
The mp3's and DATs will be released on Hexawe any time soon!
